Getting to Venue

For most participants, getting to the venue will mean a ride on the Karasuma subway line (Don't get on our other subway line by mistake, the Tozai line,) to the last station, Kokusai Kaikan station, and then taking a bus from the station to Kyoto Sangyo University.  It takes about 25 minutes from the Shijo-Oike area .

If you lose your way, ask anyone nearby for help.  Japanese like helping visitors.  (And even if you do not need help and would like a chat...) All the train and bus signs have both Japanese kanji and Roman lettering, but if you want to practice your Japanese pronunciation, see below:

- Kyoto Sangyo >> Kyoto Sahn geeyoh           Karasuma  >>> Kah rah suu mah      Kokusai Kaikan  >>> Koh kuu sigh  Kha ee kahn
