For most participants, getting to the venue will mean a ride on the Karasuma subway line (Don't get on our other subway line by mistake, the Tozai line,) to the last station, Kokusai Kaikan station, and then taking a bus from the station to Kyoto Sangyo University. It takes about 25 minutes from the Shijo-Oike area .
If you lose your way, ask anyone nearby for help. Japanese like helping visitors. (And even if you do not need help and would like a chat...) All the train and bus signs have both Japanese kanji and Roman lettering, but if you want to practice your Japanese pronunciation, see below:

Access to Kyoto Sangyo University (available in Japanese only)
- From Kyoto Station you can walk to the Kyoto Subway Station (see map below)
- The most direct way is to reach it is by exiting from JR Kyoto Station by the Underground East Gate
- The subway will have two tracks going in opposite directions
- Get on the track headed to Kokusaikaikan Station
By Bus:
From Kokusaikaikan Subway Station (Last Stop)
- Number 40 Bus to Kyoto Sangyo Daigaku Mae (11 minutes)
- Number 35 Bus to Kyoto Sangyo Daigaku Mae (17 minutes)
