Kyoto Sangyo University
is situated on a mountainside in north Kyoto with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the valley below. It was founded in 1965 by Professor Toschima Araki with just two faculties, but there are now ten faculties with over 13,500 undergraduate students and over 180 graduate students. Our conference will be held in building #3 on the map (Shinrikan) There is a Family Mart convenience store (not open Sunday) and there are also two bank ATMs, and two Post Office ATMs at the base of building #8 (Heirakukan) Lunch will be available on Saturday and Sunday on the 2nd floor of building #8 (Heirakukan). Other restaurants and a Family Mart in that building will be open on Saturday but not Sunday. You will need to order lunch from us for that day or bring your own to the campus. (The nearest convenience store (7-eleven) is 5 minutes walk down the hill from the campus entrance. |
